Since 2016, H. T. Harvey & Associates has worked with the Contra Costa Water District to support natural resources management programs on the Los Vaqueros Watershed and on regional conservation properties located in the Corral Hollow, Morgan Territory, and Marsh Creek areas. Services have included grassland and grazing monitoring, preactivity surveys, biological monitoring, special-status species population monitoring, habitat monitoring, habitat restoration monitoring, oak woodland assessment, and reporting as part of our team’s work in the reservoir watershed and approximately 5,000 acres of conservation lands. This work enabled the Contra Costa Water District to efficiently fulfill the requirements of numerous permits associated with construction and operation of the Los Vaqueros Reservoir.
