Brian Boroski, Ph.D.

Principal,
Wildlife Ecology

Dr. Brian Boroski is a vice president and principal and the head of operations for our San Joaquin Valley office. He has more than 30 years of experience as a wildlife ecologist with an extensive history of working on projects involving endangered species, permitting, and permit compliance in many arenas, including utility-scale renewable energy, particularly solar. He applies his experience and regulatory knowledge to develop and implement effective strategies. Brian manages regional assessments of special-status species, long-term monitoring projects, initial studies, environmental impact reports, biological assessments, habitat conservation plans, and project-level and programmatic incidental take consultations. He has authored numerous scientific publications for regional, national, and international journals; books; and symposium proceedings.

Brian received a Ph.D. in wildland resource science from the University of California, Berkeley; an M.S. in natural resources from Humboldt State University; and a B.S. in biology from Northern Illinois University.
