Jacquie Maher is a senior wildlife ecologist and project manager with more than 12 years of experience with aquatic and wildlife ecology. Jacquie conducts protocol surveys for protected species, wildlife trapping and monitoring, nesting bird surveys, wetland and restoration monitoring, salmonid snorkel surveys, and non-native weed surveys. She also conducts surveys for vernal pool invertebrates under a federal 10(a)(1)(A) permit. Jacquie holds a 10(a)(1)(A) permit for vernal pool invertebrates, California red-legged frog, and aquatic surveys for California tiger salamander and is a Level II surveyor for the blunt-nosed leopard lizard. Mammals she has experience with include the San Joaquin kit fox, the giant kangaroo rat, bats, American badgers, and the San Joaquin antelope squirrel.
Jacquie received an M.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from the University of Nevada, Reno and a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Management, University of California, Davis.
