Amy Sparks is a principal in the San Joaquin Valley office with more than 20 years of experience. With expertise in both ecology and law, she efficiently navigates projects through environmental regulatory processes. She directs and manages the permit processes of large construction projects and overseeing development of measures to avoid and mitigate impacts on terrestrial, freshwater, and coastal resources. Amy’s expertise covers preparation of the biological sections of environmental impact reports and environmental impact statements, identification of potential wildlife and regulatory constraints for a project, managing and developing biological assessments for federal and state Endangered Species Act consultations, and developing effective mitigation measures.
Amy has a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a B.S. in forestry from the University of California, Berkeley.
